And the winner is “Dining in the Dark”

Thank you to everyone who came along to the forth ExeterSOUP. It was fantastic to see so many people there and to hear about some of the brilliant work of local groups in Exeter. Find out even more about the causes here.

Voters at SOUP decided to fund Dining in the Dark who walked away with £110 to spend on their project. They will update us in 6 months time so that we can hear about the difference our money made. We also raised £17.50 in donations for St Sidwell’s to contribute towards the running of the Community Centre.

We also raised £11.25 in donations for St Sidwell’s to contribute towards the running of the Community Centre.

Tiny Heroes

We have been getting terribly over excited this week as Exeter SOUP, and SOUP founder Gem Hobson have been getting a mention in Daniel Bye’s new play ‘Tiny Heroes’!

Tiny Heroes is a new show from award-winning theatre maker Daniel Bye, made in North Devon and Exeter, and is fresh from it’s opening run at Exeter’s Bike Shed Theatre before heading out on national tour later in 2016.

It’s about the people who saved your life, your day, or your bacon. The people who took the time or took a chance. The people who tried, even if they failed.

Voters at SOUP decided to fund Restore who walked away with £130 and 5 euros to spend on furnishing the house they are planning to get for their clients. They will update us in 6 months time so that we can hear about the difference our money made. We also raised £23.75 in donations for St Sidwell’s to contribute towards the running of the Community Centre.
