And the winner is “Dining in the Dark”

Thank you to everyone who came along to the forth ExeterSOUP. It was fantastic to see so many people there and to hear about some of the brilliant work of local groups in Exeter. Find out even more about the causes here.

Voters at SOUP decided to fund Dining in the Dark who walked away with £110 to spend on their project. They will update us in 6 months time so that we can hear about the difference our money made. We also raised £17.50 in donations for St Sidwell’s to contribute towards the running of the Community Centre.

Our winners wanted to share their thanks for your donations:

“Thank you, I really enjoyed being here tonight

Thank you so much to all our presenters on the night. It takes a courage to stand up in front of an audience of strangers to talk about your project, even an audience as friendly as SOUP.

A huge thank you to all the amazing volunteers who made the night go smoothly especially Patsy, Kate and John.

Thanks to Devon and Cornwall Food Association for giving us the food for tonight and to St Sidwell’s Community Centre for letting us use the café. With your generosity we are able to donate 100% of the door money to the winning cause.

The next soup will be in June at Exeter University, date yet to be arranged. Hope to see you there!
